There is something significant yet familiar about autumn. The air is sharp and clear. Leaves turn brilliant shades of red, orange and yellow and float to the ground. Despite the inevitable winter, we toast the harvest with a hardy cheer for the abundance of our favorite fall fruit– the apple.
Cozy days with the smell of apple pie in the oven, a mug of hot apple cider, and the first bite into a crisp red apple freshly picked from the orchard are all fondly remembered
and enjoyed once again.
These delicious apple recipes were generously shared with Appalachian Country Living Magazine by Georgia Grown.
