Festive Potatoes

These Festive Potatoes will surely make a great addition to any Holiday Dinner.

Cream Sauce

  • 2 1/2 cups whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Bring to a simmer and cook, for about 15 minutes, until it thickens slightly and reduces.

2 1/2 pounds potatoes, preferably Yukon gold thinly sliced.
We recommend using a Japanese Mandolin or a V-slicer for this dish, but you can use a knife or a food processor to cut the potatoes.
1 ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Preheat the oven to 350°F.
Butter a 12-inch gratin dish or a 3-quart baking dish. Arrange potatoes in layers, sprinkling each layer with salt, pepper, and grated Parmesan cheese.

Pour reduced cream sauce over potatoes.
Bake covered for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Remove the cover, and bake for 15 more minutes or until the top is golden and the potatoes are tender.
