Buck Bald Brewing owners Patrick and Sylvie Keenan first rolled up the garage doors in 2018, transforming a Mid-Century Esso gas station into one of the most visited breweries in the area. What started out as a handful of home brewing friends has become a thriving Copperhill brew business loved by locals and visitors alike.
The Murphy, NC location, opened just this year, affords the much needed room for more brewing, a larger taproom, an event space, and more parking.
The original brew team, Patrick Keenan, Mike Crosier and Tony Hoyt remain on deck producing some of the most excellent craft brews in these here parts.
So who is Buck Bald? Maybe a better question is “What is Buck Bald?” Buck Bald is a mountain peak in Polk County, TN. After multiple failed attempts to find a name that accurately reflects the beauty and history of North GA and South Central TN, they finally settled on a local landmark that perfectly represents the character of the beers they are trying to brew.
An important ingredient to their success is Buck Bald’s care for the community. A team of BBB regulars donate their time to clean litter from the roads and distribute food for those in need. Patrick and Sylvie have made it a priority to give back to the community by holding a variety of charity events every year, bringing much needed relief to the area.
Whether you enjoy IPAs, sours, English and German styles, or you’re looking for something just a little out there, we’ve got you covered.
Visit Buck Bald Brewing in either location and you’re sure to feel like part of the family.
