THREE ARTISTS DISH UP THE LOCAL FAVORITES
We certainly are lucky to live here in north Georgia this time of year where there are more varieties of apples grown than you can count– including rare, heirloom varieties that are on a welcome rebound.
Autumn is also a great season for cheese: aged wheels made with the sweet, grassy milk of summertime are just now coming into their own. Here at Inside Appalachian Country magazine, we’re big fans of pairing cheese with apples (and apple cider), so as the weather gets crisp, it’s time to get creative with some of our local artists and get cooking!
