Like many others, new owners Stephanie and Marc Cots came to north Georgia on vacation and fell in love with area. Having grown up in a town smaller than McCaysville, GA, Stephanie knew immediately that this is where she wanted to raise her children.

Recognizing a true gem, and with plenty of elbow grease, the Cots’ have given The Cider House Orchards a new life- bringing a casual, hip, fresh vibe along the way.

Stephanie has fully embraced the small town ‘orchard’ way of life. She’s a member of the United States Association of Cider Makers and of Georgia Grown. She is also the first female hard cider brewer in the north Georgia/Tennessee mountains.

Stephanie welcomes everyone to her new cidery where you’ll always find her making cider, behind the counter, or cooking up some of her delicious desserts. Enjoy!

Offering U-Pick fruit of the season or picked fruit ready for you to take home. Fresh- pressed cider, as well as hard cider.

A hip, yet rustic cafe serving lunch, cider, hard cider and their now-famous fried pies and fried pie sundae Thursday – Sunday 11am to 3pm.

The Cider House Country Market, with an assortment of butters, jams, jellies and other great gifts, as well as- you guessed it- fried pies!
